Confronting my sexual abuser.

So as promised I have managed to trace my abuser and today I have confronted him.

This has definately been THE hardest day of my life but I’ve done it. It is something that I needed to do in order to take back some control in my life. I’m going to take my life back one step at a time.

Please take some strength in the knowledge that you can achieve anything to take your life back into your own hands. Never give up, your time will come.

Confronting my sexual abuser.:

About mitsanuk

I left the RAF in 2015 following 20 years as a frontline paramedic. It has been an amazing career but then found myself suffering because of this. My blog exists as an outlet for me as well as a place for others to read and try to understand the mind of someone with PTSD. Please feel free to make comment on any post and lets raise some discussions on how we can help to end the stigma which surrounds mental illness. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please follow and share in the hope my experience will help others.

That was the bravest thing that I have ever seen. I really hope that you realise that we were all with you, holding your hand, when you got to the front door,

Michelle, how you did that today I will never know. I pray you will have closure on this horrific episode in your childhood. May God give you the strength to move forward with peace in your life.
